Eric Whitehead also known internationally as DJ "Mr. E" grew up listening to Soul and R&B Music being played on the only AM radio station in the area and on his family's 8 Track player.

In the early 1980’s while serving in the US Army in Karshure, Germany he started collecting albums and spinning wax at local NCO Clubs. In 1984, DJ “Mr. E” moved to Washington, DC and started spinning music wherever he could find gigs; house parties, barbecues, cabarets, weddings, fashion shows, Government functions and music festivals.

From 1988 through 2007, DJ “Mr. E” was the featured prime time DJ at two of Washington DC’s liveliest nightclubs. He is also an established MC and Show Host, hosting several International Beauty Pageants on HBO. He has also been a featured DJ Nationally and Internationally performing in Jamaica, The Bahamas and in numerous major cities around the USA.

DJ “Mr. E” is a Wedding & Reception Specialist performing at over 200 weddings in his career. For all of your Wedding needs, his attention to detail and personal service are unmatched.

He has also performed at over 100 Corporate Events to include functions for the DC Government, Executives of MGM National Harbor, FROSH Event Planning and Conferences, EIG Global Energy and is the former Radio Show Host of the DJ "Mr. E" Show, the liveliest Smooth Jazz Show on the Planet.
